In real life, the DCL-110 is a heavy-duty red-dot sight intended for use on medium and heavy machine guns. In the film, however, it is portrayed as a fictional high-tech device with the ability to see through solid objects.

This minigun seen here is most likely a rubber prop, considering that it is sent flying upwards after Captain pushes the HYDRA agent downwards. Another implication that it is a rubber prop is that the belt chute is gone even though it was seen moments earlier.

Wise beyond his years, literally, Captain America is the ultimate field commander. He is intelligent and the way he can reason with others can go a long way. Steve was born to be a commander and a leader, even if he didn’t realize that at his young and frail former life. After being laughed at in Italy while performing his stage shows for the U.S. Army, he learned that his buddy Barnes and the troop he was in were completely destroyed in the war. Looking further into the details, he soon realized that a search group was never enforced. Matters needed to be taken into his own hands.

9 WARHAWK
Created by Chris Claremont and Pat Broderick, Warhawk first appeared in 1975’s «Marvel Premiere» #23, where Iron Fist met the psychotic Michael Tanner. Tanner was a soldier in Vietnam who got married and settled down in a local village, but was almost killed during an attack on the village. U.S. soldiers found him and an army surgeon revived him with an experimental Super Soldier serum that healed him, but also turned his skin blue and made him invulnerable. He became a trained assassin codenamed Warhawk, but the murders and trauma drove him insane.
Warhawk was a frequent enemy of Iron Fist back in the day, but also branched out to fight the X-Men and team up with Wolverine. He can shrug off bullets, Wolverine’s claws and even blows from the legendary punch of Iron Fist. Those powers, combined with his skill at combat and marksmanship, have made him a deadly enemy and an even deadlier Super Soldier.

Captain America became more of a public figure after the death of the one who experimented on him, Dr. Abraham Erskine. When the public eye got a glance of him running and saving a child the day Erskine was assassinated, he was pushed away from the true intentions of his advanced abilities. Captain was made into a laughing show with performances on stage to prove his strength.
Signing autographs, posing for pictures, and uniform on, he still continued to smile and loved witnessing innocent people having a good time. Afterall, his stage performances were helping to fund military campaigns. Steve was more than that though. He was supposed to be the ultimate soldier teaming up alongside his army family and taking down one bully at a time. With his mental processing he now contains, he could really plan strategic missions with a blink of an eye.

Being different from other superheros, he contained a talent long before the super serum was injected.

Gameplay[edit]
Captain America: Super Soldier combines a combat system inspired by the Batman: Arkham series with platforming elements. The character can use a variety of shield attacks that can be used to defeat enemies, solving puzzles, and climbing up walls. Captain America can also deploy a Tactical Vision that reveal the position of interactable surfaces.
The controllable character can be upgraded through Intel points. Intel points can be collected by beating soldiers or retrieving items on the battlefield.
Stereoscopic 3Dedit
The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Captain America: Super Soldier include a stereoscopic 3D mode for 3D HDTVs and for 2D HDTVs via glasses. It uses , which is integrated with Unreal Engine 3, for stereoscopic 3D support. All Captain America: Super Soldier gameplay and cinematics have S3D support.

Captain America actually dies, but he is reborn later on. That’s a pretty big power to possess! This super serviceman, along with the super serum, has healing powers that go beyond a typical human that plops a bandaid on their wound. The injected liquid that runs throughout his muscular stature can also prevent health issues from forming. Skinny Steve once had asthma, scarlet fever, rheumatic fever, high blood pressure, and heart issues before he was dubbed Captain America. Now, I’m sure he would qualify with flying colors for the Army with no questions asked!

Mixed with vibranium, steel alloy, and some weird unknown substance, this shield can do more than block a blast. During the time of World War ll, Franklin D. Roosevelt advised Dr. Myron MacLain to create a substance that was indestructible to use for the tanks in battle. The unknown third component of this shield was invented by accident and never recreated again!

Was Captain America: Super Soldier Ever Supposed to Be Part of the MCU Canon?
While it’s easy to buy into the idea that there was once a time when Super Soldier was developed with the MCU canon in mind, the fact of the matter is that there is no evidence to support the idea that any video games based on the MCU films were ever supposed to be part of the MCU canon or were intended to directly set-up future films.
The genesis of that rumor seems to be both the early relationship between Sega and Marvel Studios as well as the fact that there are so many elements of Super Soldier that do lead into Captain America: Winter Soldier in their own strange way. In fact, it’s been said that an early draft of Winter Soldier featured more WW2 flashbacks. That has only given rise to the theory that there was a point where Winter Soldier would have tied into the events of WW2 a little more closely and that Super Soldier could have represented an early draft of those events.
What you have to keep in mind, though, is that the MCU was in a relative state of chaos at that time. Netflix was a few years away from debuting Marvel-based shows with a loose MCU relationship, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would generate significant confusion regardings its MCU relationship, and as we’ve discussed, these games confusingly existed within the universe of the Marvel films yet feature significant differences that put them in conflict with the stories and characters of those films.

Super Soldier Oddly Helps Set-Up Major Winter Soldier Plot Points
The most interesting quality of Super Soldier is how it almost accidentally sets up plot points that would appear in Winter Soldier and future MCU movies. There are few examples of that concept more intriguing than the game’s portrayal of Arnim Zola.
There’s a fascinating moment in Super Soldier when we see that Captain America has been captured by HYDRA. While he’s being restrained, Zola informs him that he has taken samples of Captain America’s blood in the hopes of recreating the super serum that gave Steve Rogers the abilities he needed to become the legendary hero.
While Zola is stopped before he can deliver the completed version of that serum to Red Skull, we later learn that he had intended to use it on one of Captain America’s friends, James Montgomery Falsworth, in an effort to turn one of Captain America’s closest accomplices against him and give HYDRA a living weapon as strong as Rogers.
Strangely, that’s basically what happens with Bucky. In fact, the idea that Zola previously captured Captain America and used his blood to create a super-soldier serum goes a long way to explaining how and why Bucky turned out the way he did in the films. Zola was able to take what he learned from those experiments and simply fashion a new serum that was used to help create the Winter Soldier.
Another interesting “coincidence” involving Zola occurs later in the game when we learn that Zola has transferred his mind to a machine in order to battle Captain America. While that’s clearly a way for Captain America to have a more traditional video game boss fight against Zola, the entire process is oddly similar to how Zola eventually transfers his consciousness to a series of computer servers (as seen in Winter Soldier).
FN Mk 13
The Winter Soldier can be seen using what appears to be a modified version of a standalone FN Mk 13 grenade launcher near the end of Fury’s SUV chase. The barrel has been displaced downwards in order for the weapon to fire large, disc-shaped projectiles from the gap between the barrel and the frame.

5 BLACK WIDOW
In “Tales of Suspense” #52 (1964), Natalia Romanova first entered the Marvel Universe as a KGB assassin and an enemy of Iron Man. Over time, she was revealed to be Black Widow, one of the Soviet Union’s most ruthless agents. As a young girl, she had been orphaned and taken by the Kremlin to be a part of the Red Room, an elite training program to create the perfect female sleeper agent. She was given an experimental Super-Soldier treatment that enhanced her strength and speed, as well as caused her to age very slowly. Along with her native talents with martial arts and agility, Romanova became one of the KGB’s best agents.
The Black Widow later defected to the United States and became an agent of the super-secret S.H.I.E.L.D., and later a valued member of the Avengers. With her physical skills, elite training and electroshock bracelets, she stands side-by-side with superheroes and gods.
